Bouquet Amist Blossoms: Wallpaper College 2024
Gouache, colored pencil on cut pape 12 x 18 inches

This bouquet of flowers interacting with the wallpaper blossoms behind it was inspired by a flower shop I passed by in Nørrebro, a neighborhood in Copenhagen. Inside there was this faded flowery wallpaper, an old framed still life painting of flowers pinned on it and a live bouquet being arranged on the work table out in front. Three orders of floral reality just fascinates me.
